Thousands march in Edinburgh in solidarity with the Palestinians

IRSP supporters proudly flew the Starry Plough in the birthplace of James Connolly in today’s Edinburgh demonstration in support of the Palestinians. Around 4,000 people marched in protest at the Israeli massacre onboard the ships that made up the Free Gaza flotilla.

The protest marched to the American consulate before heading back along Princes St (Edinburgh’s main shopping area), were a section of the crowd proceeded to try and enter the Marks & Spencers store, before staging a protest outside it for 20 minutes.
